20 May 2008: Early Years training in creativity
An independent day preparatory school in the Midlands, England, needs a speaker/trainer in the field of creativity within Early Years education. The school wishes to motivate teaching staff to look across the Early Years curriculum and develop inclusive "creative" planning for learning.
20 May 2008: Finding the right London school
A mother needs a consultancy to find a suitable day school in London for her son when he turns five years of age. He is a bright, bi-lingual child currently living mainly in Brazil.
20 May 2008: Help for school with English issues
A headteacher at a school in the south of England is looking for a consultant who can help with developing the teaching of English, including visiting the school to give advice about the curriculum and the latest methods/ideas. Issues with English include that standards are not as high as they should, staffing has been unstable and the leadership of the department has been ineffective.
30 April 2008: Trainers Required for Wellbeing Programmes
A national social enterprise with a nine-year record of delivering wellbeing programmes in schools and local authorities is expanding its network of associate trainers and consultants to work up to 50 days each year at a daily rate of approximately £300. Consultants are needed around the UK, but especially in London and the South East. The work involves running training workshops, working with individual schools or organisations over an extended period and delivering occasional bespoke training sessions. Full training will be provided for the successful consultants. An introduction day is being held in London on 15 May 2008.
30 April 2008: Charity Seeks Help on Linking Cancer Advice on National Curriculum

A national cancer charity is seeking help with completing development of its new lessons plans for schools. The themes covered include 'diet', 'smoking' and 'fitness'. Direct links can be made to PSHE and Citizenship, with further cross-curricular links to Literacy, Science and Design and Technology amongst others. Each lesson has three differentiated versions - one for KS2, KS3 and KS4.

Content accuracy has been checked by nutritionists and other medical professionals, but the charity now wants to ensure the plans are accurate from an educational point of view and would like to work with an educational consultant to make the relevant National Curriculum links for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

11 March 2008: Leadership Consultancy
The Head of a junior school is seeking a consultant to work alongside him to develop his leadership structures. He would like to maximize the potential of all staff involved, encourage “free thinking and expression” and build resilience to change.
11 March 2008: Primary Curriculum Training Opportunity
A primary school is seeking a consultant who can provide training on the “Skills Based Curriculum” – how this can be implemented and the benefits to children.
11 March 2008: Admission Appeals – guidance required
A parent whose son did not get into any of the three schools selected is seeking urgent advice on the admissions appeal procedure.
