Mr John Birchall :: Impact Education

Previous Experience

I have 25 years experience as a Head Teacher in four overseas schools and three UK State schools in both England and Scotland. I have been a member of HMC and Chair of FOBISSEA (Federation of British International Schools in SE Asia). I have 17 years history of working with the IB Diploma and have introduced it to three schools. I am very keen to become involved with UK State schools who are considering introducing the IB Diploma curriculum. I am most interested in issues involving school re-structuring and efficiency. I am also able to provide management training to staff at all levels and help schools set up effective Performance Management systems. I also specialise and provide training in manual school timetabling in the firm belief it is far superior to computerised versions.
