Expertise

I have worked in primary and junior schools for many years now. I offer independent advice/consultancy on the use of ICT in Education especially in Primary Education. I am experienced in Policy Development, strategic ICT implementation, ICT Staff Audits, working towards the Self-Review Framework devised by Becta, Devising individual learning programmes for academic and non academic staff and delivering training specifically related to their requirements, Whole Staff Inset Training on ICT and specific curriculum areas.

Specialisms
Specialise in supporting teachers in devising ICT resources and activities for all ages and abilities. Emphasis is on inspiring teachers to use ICT creatively and in an exciting way so it can be embedding across the curriculum.

I am passionate about the arts and how ICT can support teachers in delivering the curriculum. I have been involved in music for the past 22 years and have experience in conducting instrumental wind bands.

I am an Educational author on the subject of ICT especially Interactive Whiteboards and the use of ICT within the curriculum.
