I am a successful, motivated and dynamic leader, who strives for excellence and quality, maximising performance to achieve results. I possess excellent negotiation skills, to develop partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders. I am a skilled teacher, coach and mentor with an enviable track record in the field of education. I provide guidance services to students, parents, education and other multi- disciplinary professionals within the field of education.

Previous Experience

I have over twenty years experience in the field of education, training and community development. I am educated to Masters Degree level, MA in Education and Lifelong Learning from the University of Nottingham. I have a Prince2 qualification in Project Management, and I am CIPD qualified. I have continued to develop my skills as part of my commitment to continuing professional development and completed an ILM 5 in Leadership and Management at Nottingham Trent University. I am NLP qualified with an ILM level 7 in Coaching. I have extensive experience of the education sector, training and employment. I have engaged with OFSTED Training through the AOC (OFSTED Shadowing Leadership Program). I was deputy nominee for the College's OFSTED Inspection in 2015, where the College achieved a GOOD outcome under the Common Inspection Framework. I was instrumental in driving changes to teaching, learning and assessment and increasing achievement outcomes. I worked within the frameworks set out by QAA and OFSTED to review the quality of the observation of teaching and learning.
